NRCHROD exists to:


- Provide thought leadership, education and research to media, human resources professionals, governmental and non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions to share expertise and create innovative solutions on people management issues.
- Serve as an advocate to ensure that policy makers and regulators are aware of key people concerns facing organizations and the human resource profession.
- Establish and sustain partnerships with human resource professionals, governmental and non-governmental organizations, businesses and academic institutions to address people management challenges that influence the effectiveness and sustainability of their organizations and communities

One of the major business models NRCHROD is also specialized in is working with family based organizations and transforming that kind of business into corporate business mainly for the SME (small and medium enterprises) where individualism is dominant in the business. Whatever the specialty of the business, we commit ourselves to help entrepreneurs achieve their goals and objectives. We are quite familiar with all issues of the family based business and we know how it should be handled and how to manage the change process with the least possible side effects to the business. We work in a team with the company management and we discuss all details including those invisible for everybody and we recommend the best possible solutions for all problems might be faced during our mission in the company.

Building a family business

The key word in building a successful family business is to have a dialogue across generations of owners (family members) about creating a common and shared vision to be succeeded along the generations supported by the family dreams and expectations. Knowing that generations view business differently however, those differences are adding value to the business indeed but most importantly, the members whether founders or successors should be aware of that fact beside the fact People create ideas, ideas build organizations that when successors take over and passing through that transitions, it will be painful for both as change is very painful and no one finds it easy, the one who lets go or the one who takes over.

- A family employee policy should be established.
- Clear roles and responsibilities should be defined.
- Next generation should be prepared.

- Focus should be given to business issues rather than family concerns.
- Successors should be taught how to take over the family business :
 When they are young.
 Bringing them into the business environment.
 Whether there is only one or more successors.
 Business founders should be alert and cautious.
